"...Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Haiti Christian Mission is a non-profit Christian organization whose purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism, education, discipleship training, and most importantly, love. The mission was started in 1983 with a native Haitian, Choubert Remy. Led by God to reach his own people with Jesus’ message of hope, redemption, and everlasting life, Choubert came to the United States and received an A.A. degree in Bible and Ministry from Kentucky Christian College as well as a B.S. in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. Just recently, Choubert also obtained a Masters degree in counseling from Lincoln Christian College. This educational background, along with a deep understanding of Haitian culture and the leading of the Holy Spirit, has led Choubert to pastor four different churches, begin a Christian school in their village, open the first Christian university in Haiti (with the help of two other partners), and operate various discipleship training courses throughout Haiti. Choubert’s current church in the village of Galette Goureau is the only non-voodoo church in the area.
