Bernadette and I come to you this month with much joy in my heart. You might be curious to know why. Well, our God has again proven Himself to be the God that He says He is, the awesome God, the loving God, the God who cares for His children. Last month, you prayed for Whitney going through her minor surgery. It was a simple intervention that created anxiety, given that we did not know what those enlarged lymph nodes were. Thank God, everything turned out in the best of scenario. The surgery went well. The recovery so far is wonderful. The biopsy is negative. This is the best negative ever. Many times, we want things to be positive. This negative is very welcomed. We are bombarded with activities and expenses involving her senior year in High School, and the expenses for all our travel. We did not know how we were going to manage all this. I still do not have a clear answer, since I do not know how He did it. I can only tell you that I am amazed. It could only be a miracle like that of Elijah and the Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4). God multiplied whatever we have. He provided as manna in the desert for the Israelites, as needed daily, in our case, on a need by need basis. We could not plan or anticipate. We only trusted and waited. This was very frustrating to all of us, especially my daughter who would have liked to have a clear answer from her dad. She is so excited. But she is thus learning to trust God, as our entire life has been a walk by faith. Comforting, it has been. I hope that as you read this email, it reinforces your faith and trust in the God that we serve. He is faithful. I have a testimony; my life is a living one. Thank you to all of you for praying for us. There is no way we could have gone through all this without your prayers and your assistance in whatever way you provided it. THANK YOU!
